The correct fit of your new ring is very important for your comfort and you should determine the correct size before each purchase. Should you be unsure of how to measure, your jeweller can  do it for you. As the fingers on your left hand are not the same size as the ones on your right, you should measure the exact finger on which you are going to wear the ring.

To determine your ring size yourself, take a ring which fits you well and measure the inner diameter using a ruler. Start by placing the zero mark on one edge and reading the distance in millimetres to the other edge (see figure). In our example, the ring has an inner diameter of exactly 20mm.

A difference between the ideal diameter to the effective diameter of up to three tenths of a millimetre is no problem.
